1. Introduction

Welcome to EmptyNook (“we”, “us”, “our”). EmptyNook is an online platform that allows users to list and find unused storage space. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Nature of the Service

EmptyNook is a listing platform only.

We do not own, operate, manage, or control any storage spaces.
We do not take possession of goods.
We do not facilitate payments between users.
We are not a party to any agreement entered into between users.

All storage arrangements are private agreements between the host (space provider) and the renter (person storing goods).

3. User Responsibilities

Renters:

Are responsible for ensuring items are suitable for storage.
Store items entirely at their own risk.
Are responsible for arranging insurance if desired.
Must ensure all information provided is accurate.

Hosts:

Must accurately describe storage spaces and security features.
Must ensure they have the right to offer the space.
Should confirm with their insurer whether third-party goods are permitted.

4. Insurance & Risk

EmptyNook does not provide insurance for stored goods.

Any insurance offered is provided by third-party insurers.
Insurance is optional but recommended.
EmptyNook is not involved in underwriting, claims, or disputes.

Items are stored at the renter’s own risk unless otherwise agreed between the parties.

5. Prohibited Items

The following may not be listed or stored:

Illegal goods
Cash or financial instruments
Explosives or hazardous materials
Firearms or ammunition
Items prohibited by law

We reserve the right to remove listings that violate these rules.

6. Listings & Accuracy

Users are responsible for the accuracy of listings and information. EmptyNook does not guarantee the condition, safety, or legality of any storage space.
